Lives, and timers.

Hello I have 2 questions just incase I need them for the game i'm making. :p

First question, LIVES, how do you make them? Like in the Impossible Quiz 1 and 2.

Now timers, or clocks W.E. When they count how long you've been playing

SORDA LIKE A GAME when there is yards, when it tells how many yards you through that stickman... Any Answers to any of em...

To create lives, all you do is create a dynamic text box at the start of your quiz. Var name it "livers" without the quotes. Then on your first frame put this code:
_root.lives=3

Then make another dynamic text box on the other frames of your quiz. Give every one the var name "lives". Then make some buttons for the answers. Give the three wrong answer buttons this code:
on(release){
_root.lives-=1;
}

That is how you create lives in a quiz game.
That's for the lives. Now for the timer. Read this (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/379011) and fix it to your needs.
