I need some help with a patching issue.

I found Battlefield 2142 and I installed it again. However, I have a problem. When I join a match, Punkbuster kicks me out. Does anyone happen to know a solution to this?

No no no, the game works fine, but a program to stop cheaters is glitching up. I'm not the only one with the problem, but when I seek help, I get lead to either a forum full of people who wouldn't know how to turn on a computer, or a forum of ****ing computer nerds.
