the storyline is important but i think having a bunch of little things to do is important cus the story can only keep u occupied for so long

I find most RPGs boring, particularly when you just choose attacks, spells, items, etc from a menu. Like Final Fantasy. Pokemon is the only game where I excuse that kind of RPG.

I like RPGs when you need some skill to use combat. Like Fable.

Also, I ****ing hate random battles. You just want to go somewhere without hassle, and then suddenly out of nowhere a wolf attacks you, and you need to go through the whole battle sequence.

I would like to see an RPG that never ends. I'm not talking like WoW where you can play even after you do all the quests, or Fable where you can play after you save (or kill) your sister. I mean a literally never ending RPG, where the story line continues. Also, customizable skills, spells, weapons, ect.

The closest thing I can think of to that would be The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (epic game, might I add). But unfortunately, even that has an end to it.
