I'm making this a double thread, because the title fits so perfectly and it's the last one I'll make for a while.

The first reason for this title is the movie "Mr. 3000" where Bernie Mac (I think it is) is trying to get 3000 HRs or something in his MLB career. This brings up the All-star HR competition that was held last night at Yankee stadium.

If anyone watched, you would have seen John Hamilton break the all time record for first round with 28 HRs and 10 outs. I'm not going deep into this because of the length of this thread. Basically, In the end Hamilton had a ****ty performance and my very own Justin Morneau won the competition. Which he didn't earn, but still. If you care about this...google it.

Now for the main reason of this thread. It's my 3000th post! I rushed the last 10 before I left last night, but oh well. We'll live.

I downloaded the Free Photoshop CS3 yesterday and I'm aiming to become a pro today (lolz) and make myself a little souvenir for 3k posts.

Thanks everyone.

Three thousand posts later, and amazingly you're actually less annoying.

Considering this IS a double thread, I will be the first to respond to both.

To say Morneau didn't earn it is incorrect. He made it out of the first round, he made it out of the next round and then won. He earned every bit of it. It was just Josh Hamilton getting caught up in the glory of it all and swinging away too much. You could make a case saying that it was Hamilton who beat himself but Morneau deserved to win as much as Hamilton. I also haven't watched it yet so I'm excited to see Hamilton blast away, though.

Oh that's right.

I remember when 1,000 was the goal to get to back when HP was cool.

So much can happen in a year...
:(:(:(:(

Oh yeah. I've been on Hallpass for over a year now. I joined on the 14th as applepie.

Better not blame a copy on me then. He had 8, maybe 9k posts when I got here.

@WH: Yeah and you're almost 6k now. LP is almost 4.
