Posting this here because I really want an answer.

So, I'm on the Tube of You, watching the beach scene from Tommy because Roger's a sexy beast, when all of a sudden, my entire screen goes blue (NOT the Blue Screen of Death, thank God.) and my headphones make this quiet whirring sound. Then my computer restarts itself and now everything is fine.

Should I be concerned about this?

It happens to me sometimes too, but my screen goes black.

I'm having Computer problems as well. I just got an update on Safari and iTunes from my Apple updater, and after it was done I restarted my computer. Turned it back on, and it was incredibly slow, and I thought it'd speed up in a bit.

I ctrl+alt+delete'd, and I was processing over a hundred AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exes.

I just finished manually deleting them all and am going at normal speed.

(I'm not referring to the Safari 3 browser, I mean the Safari 4 Developer Preview.)

Oh, come on. If you're gonna Grammar Nazi him, at least staple his left pinky to the Shift key.

EDIT: With a staple gun. Make sure you use an air compressor set at 100PSI, too. Man, a quarter my wood projects are held together with staples...

EDIT2: Make that 120PSI.

Well, most will not have a problem with Vista, the only people *****ing about it are computer nerds. The reason vista is **** is because of compatability issues, the UAC is ***, it's difficult to tweak and it's very expensive if you want ultimate. But if you use it for basic **** (Internet, photoshop, ect) it shouldn't be a problem.

It's not good, it's a ****ty browser. Although Blaze makes a good point, it is optimized for being smooth and user-friendly, it deeply lacks customizability. The only browser that compares to the ****tiness of Safari is IE. Of course, what else can you expect from a Mac***?

No, and it wasn't a power outage because I had a light on in my room and it didn't flicker or turn off. Maybe the computer's haunted by a disgruntled Windows employee who's as pissed as I am over not getting Pinball on Vista.

In my experience, computers like to screw up. A lot. Drivers just randomly malfunction or things come loose inside. I wouldn't worry about unless it begins to happen frequently. Run a virus scan just in case though.

SF you're a moron. ._. Pollo, Defragging the computer's been going for six hours and it's only at 25%. If I turn it off I will damage the hard disk, and have to put up with what'll look like two days of the damn thing taking it's time.

I really couldn't care less about customizability than I care for performance. But let me get this straight. I don't like Safari, but I don't think it's a ****ty browser. I don't like it because it's unstable by my standards (yes, on a Mac) and doesn't remember my tabs. Hence, I use Camino for my Mac.

As for user-friendliness, I don't see how Safari competes with other browsers. Most mainstream browsers are user friendly as is.

Defragging is voluntary, you know... and I'm pretty sure it's hard to deliberately fragment data on an NTFS drive...

My laptop is a piece of junk. I used to be able to brag about how fast is was, now I wish it would die. To start the thing it would take about ten minutes. Then after it goes ereeeererrrererrrrrrrrer for about another five minutes and is finally booted up, the thing runs slower than ever. Forgot to mention that the thing is about ten pounds. Also has no Internet:eek:. And just the other day, my laptop finally crashed, for good (crashed about eight times already) Thank God it finally did.:D
