how do i get a smaller avatar?

can anyone tell me how to make it smaller?? and delete the the logo at the bottom

I guess usually people rep the people they don't like, but not always people they like. I've gotten a lot of rep over the past year, so it seems like more then it is. I get one or 2 a month. I give bad rep to people I don't liek so that helps too I guess.

You do know it's been said more than once that if you put in the original picture you wanted into the thing, it will resize its self. Right?
