Guitar hero contest at the mall

So at the mall thats closest to my house, called 5 Points mall, theres a guitar hero contest going on. It's free to enter, and there are actual prizes. First place for easy is $150 bucks to spend at the mall. First for medium is $250 bucks to spend at the mall. First for Hard is $400 bucks. First for expert is a Washburn DD60 Dan Donegan Signature series guitar, and a 30 watt Marshall amp. I have entered twice, and my best score stands as 2nd place for the preliminaries. 487 000 on One. The finalists are to be announced on Wednesday, and the finals played on Thursday. So the point of this thread?

EDIT: These contests must be going on in a lot of places because my uncle told me about one (He's in his middle 20s and still addicted to video games) that he said he wasn't going to enter until he learned about how there's a prize for each level of skill. I'm not sure he ever did enter though.

So I played again today, and got 498000, but because I got 1100 note streak, they moved it up to 500K. As well, because I did that well, they gave me the hourly draw, instead of just drawing for it. 25 bucks to spend at 5 points.
