I need to eat, but like usual, nothing in the house... any suggestions?
I was thinking I might order some pizza, or Chinese Food... or I could run down to Wal Mart and pick up a couple things. Though that is kinda a last resort as it is cold out and I don't really feel like going out.

Do you like sushi? Most of the Japanese restaurants around the world deliver. So maybe Teriyaki your way?

If it were up to me, I would make a light Chicken Salad dressed with Cesar Sauce, with a smidgen of mango and lime chutney on the side, garnished with black pepper to be enjoyed with silver wear for the first course.
Second course, or main course, I would say a nice Roast Beef flavoured with rosemary, served with a variety of steamed vegetables, and well roasted jacket potatoes. Garnish it with the rosemary you used to cook the beef, and why not have some parsnips?
For desert, I would make a nice raspberry pavlova with cream, served with just a TINY amount of a sweet, liquor based chocolate sauce.
What to drink? I would recommend a glass of Moet Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne and a tall glass of water on the side.
Remember to provide a nice serviette
All up, this will take approximately 6 hours to prepare, and cost you well over what you would usually spend on grocery's in a week.

Just because I'm a gourmet doesn't mean you have to be all mean and stuff. :(
