is there a way to video tape tv without having to get the bad quality??? if you know a way or know a video online that tells you can you post it because i have been post vids on youtube that have terrible quality. PLEASE

Other than setting up a video camera in front of your TV......I don't think there is a way do record something without spending money.

recording DVD is the best way. If you don't want to buy any of those, tape over one of you're old VHS's that you never watch.

They are. They are good for uploading things from the TV onto the computer then on to a website.
It works better than holding a camera in front of a TV, even though some retards out there thing it would work. What annoys me more is that they often get someone to HOLD the camera so it's all shaky, and not get a stand.
