That Rhyming Thread

This is now a competition, no rhyming until it starts. Please sign up.

Every single post you make has to rhyme with the post above it. Example:

Post one: My cousin Suzy is having a party.

Post two: I just ate a sammich, it was quite harty.

Post three: (a sentence ending in something that rhymes with harty)

Everyone will go in order of their position. When the last person has posted a rhyme, the first person will start and the cycle will repeat.

You cannot post a rhyming word that has already been posted, if you do by accident quickly edit it.

There are 2 ways to lose the competition;

1. You cannot think of a word on your turn. If you can't, you say "OUT" and you will get out.

2. If someone posts a word that isn't a word. I will point this out and you will be out.

When you are out your name will be erased from the position list, and I will pick a new word. This keeps going on until there is one person left and they will win the game.

Good question. I'd say a day, but try to make it as soon as possible.

That seems reasonable. Also, if someone is going on a break, they can announce it on here so the game can still continue without waiting a day each time.

I'm thinking that people who aren't in the game, can post all they want and rhyme, but then again, they'll probably use all our rhyming words and make us fail faster, so it's a win/lose situation.

Hmm, you could split us into teams. Have anyone from Team 1 post, then Team 2, then Team 3, and so on and so forth. The game will take forever, but that'll make it more fun.

We would need more people though. However, that is not a bad idea. You could actually have team captains and they have a draft. That way, the teams are fair because everyone had a good shot at a good team.

The main idea behind it is that there's an entire team ready to post, so no one user can hold up the line.
