This forum needs this thread. Talk about pretty much anything metal. :p

So anyway I was thinking about getting an Amon Armath album. Does any one here listen to them and if you do can you tell me which album's their best so I can have something awesome to start with?

Well I just get songs off of Limewire, so I cant really say which entire album is good, but most of my songs are from their ablums "The Avenger" and "Versus the World." From what I have, The Avenger is better.

Some Black Metal like Immortal is really fast. Emperor has lots of slow music but they're still really good. I guess both styles have their pros and cons. Maybe we should continue this in the metal thread to keep this from going any more off topic. :o

THen you should check out The Chariot. They have Norma Jean's old singer from their first album. ALso check out Chimera they're pretty cool too.

Listening to it right now, I like it, but I like Matt Heafy's voice from Trivium better. Pretty awesome, though.

;0 How could anyone not enjoy arcturus... They have hellhammer, sverd, and garm o_O They were originally black metal under the name mortem, then switched over to avant-garde, and I'd still say they are darker then CoF ;) And bal sagoth has just amazing symphonics ;o

Yeah, I like that one. I've always loved the usage of classical instruments in metal. I suppose that's why I tend to lean more toward Black and Gothic then any other sub genre.

I meant the addition thereof. Like the way Undeceived by Extol opens. I'll upload it in a sec so you can hear it. It's a Christian band, but they toured with Opeth. In fact, I read an interview with the members from Opeth, and they said that they were Extol fans. D:

Mastodon is great, I've been listening to them for a while. I never really got into the Slipknot deal, but i do have the upmost respect for that great band. I think Lamb of God is great too.
