Free animations/sprite sheets

Hi

Im looking for some basic animations or sprite sheets to include in my games. Mainly i need frames of characters running/walking and perhaps crouching, attacking etc.

Also these graphics need to be copyright/royalty free for use in my games.

If anyone knows where anywhere i can get these please post a link here.

Thanks for the info but i am looking for ready made ones that look a bit better than just using stickmen for all my games

That's gonna be hard to find. You can find them though. I don't where, and chances are they're not the person you want, and they might not be doing what you want. But just try searching it up on google.

Great find. Although most of these sheets are ripped directly from copyright games there are some great custom style sheets based on games that i can use for my own games.

Some of the custom sheets are for characters such as sonic that clearly break copyright laws but there are many of less popular games and some that do not look like the original characters (eg halo) that would work great for my games.
