How do you get points

MaN IM NEW here and i wanna get my profile in the top scores . so please help me out with getting points

You won't be there for a while, but there are a few ways you can do it.
1. When you post, you get 1 point for each post.
2. When you click pass or fail, you get one point for each.
3. You get 1 point for each point of reputation you have.
4. You get 50 points for submitting a movie.

Currently, the top user has over 7000 points, so if you want to catch up, better get cracking. I only have 5000 so it will be a while before I get there.

You also get 5 points (or so - I forget) when you vote on something in the new section. Only thing is you have to wait for it to be passed or failed from the new section to get the points.
