Ok so I've been on hold for about 15-20 minuetes with ATT because I need to get my 2 week old phone replace because somehow the screen broke without me dropping it, or hitting it. I want to know what are your worst Customer Service stories. Im bored so entertain me.

The worst customer service was with my power provider. My power had been out for over a day. I called numerous times asking and just got the machine. They called me and said it was on. I checked and it was not on. I called again and I got a person. I said, "Your machine was wrong and the power is not on." She told me to calm down! That is the worst customer service.

My mom was on for Rogers for about 2 hours, because my dad has a separate phone in his office, but they bundled that together out of nowhere one month, so they said it couldn't be done. So then my mom was talking to liek the head guy, and he gave us our HD cable box free for 1 year.

Vonage screwed me over so bad I couldn't walk straight for a week. They overcharged us by 300 bucks, then they cut our land line even though we paid the extra cash. Then my mom got put on hold for an hour or so until she hang up. We cut the cords and now we have comcast. I got to say, their phone service & internet is great, but their TV service sucks balls. I don't have half of my favorite channels, and I don't have a tv guide. So I have to filp around for ten minutes trying to find something.

That is what I like about Rogers. When they do screw up, they do not mind giving you something to make up for it. Bell on the other hand, they don't give a flying **** and say (yes I was told this) 'Too bad, nothing we can do for you', when they sure as hell could have!

What happened that they overcharged you? I have no had a problem with Vonage - other than not getting my rebate for the Linksys router I bought that has the built in Vonage 'box'. They took 6 months to give me my hundred dollars. Other than that they have been very helpful when I called about the phone quality. (I had to adjust some settings on the router and they walked me through that very well)

I have no idea. I didn't get a lot of the details, but they screwed us over and we had to use cellphones as our primary phones for a year, which is a LOT more expensive. I had an imagination christmas that year!

Wow those all suck. Well this was almost my worst. I finally got off the phone with ATT and they are goin to send me a replacement, and charge us for it until I send them my old phone. My friend told me this happened to him and they didn't reimburse him becuase they thought the damage wasn't sufficiant for the replacement. That better not happen to me. Anyways, my worst Customer Service was when I got Netzero DSL (My old IP. I now have comcast and love it). I couldn't connect to the internet so i called them and I got this indian lady (no offense). I couldn't understand her, and she didn't help me. I ended up fixing the problem 5 minuetes after I hung up.

My dad was on the phone on hold for 2 hours until somebody picked up at the bank, and the guy simply said "I cannot help you with that. Please come down to the bank." and hung up. My dad was furious.

For Comcast the best is the Digital Cable with the box. Thats what I have and it has everything. It also has onDemand where you can watch just about any show anytime for free and if you have premium channels like HBO or Starz you can watch the movies they have for free. And it has a tv guide at the bottom of the screen.

i know what you are talking about
xbox customer support sucks so bad it isnt even funny, i called them several times because each time they would tell me something different, but every time i called them i got these indian people who talked so fast and with their heavy accents it was so hard to understand them- i probably spent a collective 2-3 hours on the phone, i called them because i couldnt xbox live hooked up(i do now thankfully) and every time the idiots would pretty much hang up on me
i was told that the xbox live server was messed up, i was told that i had to adjust some settings which did absolutely nothing, i was told that my router isnt compatable, but what she didnt tell me is that i could get it to work, i just had to change a setting on it, so i finally figured it out without their help

What's more interesting that hearing a lot of people moan about how the world has failed them after their expensive items broke? Listening to the people on the other end moan to me about how customers are a *****.

I don't think I've ever really had to call in for customer service. Usually, if I can't figure out or fix a problem myself, my father or brother can.

Yea. I've only called customer service a couple of times, because usually I can figure things out myself. Even when I did call customer service I figured it out myself.

Now bare in mind I'm talking about the few competent people working in customer service, they have to sit there all day listening to whiny teenagers complain that their _____ "lyk dusnt wrk prply" and then have to try and deal with enraged customers who are so blind with anger they can't form a proper sentence, let alone tell them what the problem is, and then get even more angry claiming that the only reason the staff can't understand them is because they're "all bloody foreigners".

I've never dealt with any customer service, just because it's pretty simple to find your answers on the net. Just too much of a hassle anyway.

i am yet to experience customer service myself but when i was at the hospital for my broken wrist, i was there for 9 hours. they drugged me up about 4 hours into it and then about 4 more hours later they finally reset the bones but the drugs were practically worn off. it was one of the most painful things ive ever experienced. but i did get to see the guy across my room with his figer partly cut off get it sewn back on.
